Help Yourself by Helping Your Body Through Proper Nutrition

Updated: Jul 14, 2019

Eating "dirty" -- junk food (fried food, fast food, sugary foods, sugary sodas, diet sodas, etc.) is like filling your vehicle up with leaded fuel instead of unleaded. How will your car respond when you step on the gas and reb-up the engine? It will sputter and probably conk-out. It’s the same with your body. Eat bad food and you will make it ten times harder on yourself during exercise than if you were to consume healthy, nutritious food. Begin eating healthy so your body (cardiorespiratory and neuromuscular systems) can respond correctly when you give it “gas”, place stress on it.

Like we instruct here at “No More Excuses – get fit”, you must set yourself up for success by creating the proper environment that promotes success. So begin today by planning healthy meals for the week.
